Ava had her big dress rehearsal tonight in prep for her 1st ballet recital tomorrow afternoon. Papa Jerry and Grandma Margaret are up from Portland, so they got to come watch. Papa Dick came along to watch the little dancer too!

Ava during the rehearsal. She wasn't frightened being on stage, but she wasn't super-focused on her moves either! Most of the time she just kind of stood there! Hopefully tomorrow she'll get more into her performance ;-)
After rehearsal we came back and had take-out and Ava got to open a couple birthday presents! Papa Jerry & Grandma Margaret got her some princess books and movies!

The spoiled little ballerina got to stay up way too late watching her new movie... in fact, she's yelling for me to come lay with her as I write this and it's 9:43pm! Doesn't she know princesses and ballerinas need their BEAUTY SLEEP? ;-)
