Today was an ADVENTURE! Abi, Maya and Cole drove in from Whidbey Island... and all the way to exit 47 so we could take my kids on their FIRST HIKE! I have been wanting to take the kids hiking for a while now... we live in one of the most beautiful areas in the country but just hadn't done it yet for no particular reason. But today was THE DAY! Franklin Falls (a 2-mile loop) was not only breath-taking, but the kids enjoyed themselves and hung in there with us... I only had to carry Luke about 3/4 of the way ;-) It was cold, and at times a little steep and even treacherous, but we made some fun memories with our family today. Sunday. FUN-day.
