Labor Day Weekend in Portland!

We just got back from a truly special long-weekend in Portland. A family wedding (Jason's Aunt Wahn married long-time beau Steve Taghon) brought us down this particular weekend. Such fun to be with our incredible family--- a real treat to get together with family we don't see often enough! The time went too fast :(

When we arrived Friday afternoon, we took a stroll down to a local yogurt place to chat. This was the first time I had to honor of meeting Jaret's amazing partner Michael!

Always lots of silly time with our Uncle Fuzzy! He is like MAGIC with our kids!

The kids immediately fell in love with Uncle Michael as well--- impossible not to!!!!

Mama & Ava heading to the rehearsal for the wedding! My beautiful little flower girl.

Taking her job so serious... even pretended to throw her petals on the way down the aisle ;-)

Uncle Denis, Auntie Wahn (the blushing bride!) & Papa Jerry walking down the aisle!

This church is GORGEOUS! Beautiful stained-glass...

Rehearsal dinner--- Jason & his auntie!

Jason & Grandma Tam... the Mother of the Bride and a true gem!

Aunt Lindsey's train was super late getting in... she had JUST come off a long ride... and just look at her! RADIANT!

Me & my handsome hubby!

Me & Michael!

Group shot... minus me and Jason. Such a gorgeous family!

The little patient flower girl... waiting for pre-wedding pics and the wedding to start!

Man! These men are good lookin'!!! :)

My littlest handsome one... he was being patient too!

Awe...

Wish Max could have been here for some family shots!

Ava was fascinated with the stunning bride...

So beautiful!

I was proud of the little up-do I did!

We were so proud of our little flower girl!

This is during the ceremony when the priest mentioned that "Funkle Steve" (named by Jason years ago... a combo between "fake" and "uncle") would be becoming "UNCLE" finally! :)

Ava looking on during the ceremony... love this shot.

Ava and little cousin Lola.

During ceremony.

Reception time! Me with the beautiful bride... before my camera died :(

We woke up Sunday am and went to a big family breakfast. After that we headed back for all-day hanging out and cookie baking with Auntie Kimmy!

My tired little biker...

This was about the time we decided we needed to head back to WA Sunday night instead of Monday am. Look at Luke's face--- crying all the way to Starbucks on our afternoon jaunt to get some fresh air! We really wanted to avoid Monday (labor day) traffic and the kiddos were WIPED after two late-nights of FUN and constant fun with the family!
So many memories. Went too fast! Loved every minute...
