Today is a HUGE day in the Gardiner household. This am, Jason brought Max along for a hunting excursion in Ellensburg. Jason has been wanting to take his oldest son along for years and today was the day!
My dad grew up hunting in South Dakota- and has passed the love of bird hunting on to my brothers and even my husband! Jason is now carrying on the tradition and was thrilled to be able to take Max along since he is a little older… He still needs to complete his hunter's safety course to be official.
Although hunting isn't something I understand (really- killing birds? Freezing cold? FUN?) I kind of adore that my husband has taken such a liking to something my own father is passionate about--- and who can't deny how hot he looks in that bright orange gear? ;-)
Looks like Max was pretty excited...
