Happy Birthday, America!

We had the most spectacular 4th of July!  The weather was GLORIOUS and this NEVER happens in WA :)  We headed to our neighborhood celebration in the morning...
 The Gardiner Five- all patriotic!
David and Sara spent the night on the 3rd so we had them the entire day--- such a bonus!
One of the best things about the neighborhood celebration: PONY RIDES!
Uncle David took the kiddos to the cotton candy and snow cone stand...
Look who got BOTH (before lunch, at 11am!)
Another favorite about the celebration: face painting!
After a relaxing afternoon at home and prepping for our friends to come over, the Champion's and Kremer's (and families) came over for a potluck bbq.  It has become a tradition for us to host- a party we truly look forward to!

The kiddos played on their bikes and in the wagon and ran around having a blast!
YUM!  BBQ time!
 These sweet girls.  Love.
We did a lot of eating and hanging out and watching the smaller fireworks as it started to get dark... such a great group of people.
We had to get some patriotic shots!
 LOVE this!
 The Gardiner Five...
Uncle David was showing Luke how to light off the fireworks--- I wasn't so sure this was a great idea, but they do have an adorable bond :)
 This girl is amazing!
 Getting darker--- sparkler time!
Last pic I took before the big fireworks around the corner began.  I truly LOVE the 4th of July and already look forward to next year!
