Last night these two COULDN'T WAIT to head out to trick or treat. In fact, the minute dad and papa Dick and Sara arrived, they asked if we could skip dinner and hit the streets before it was even DARK. The first probably 6 houses we hit, they said things like "oh you are our first of the night" and "we aren't even ready!" and "we are just eating dinner..." OOOPS. Eventually the skies darkened and the streets grew packed with kiddos and parents! Sara and I headed back to pass out candy at the house (ok and to warm up and have some wine!) They others stayed out until close to 8pm and MAN! Did they ever get a BOAT LOAD of gooey candy goodness.
