Today was Ava's second dentist appointment ever! The first attempt, last Spring, she wouldn't unclench her jaw long enough for anyone to even take a look inside! So today we took her to a pediatric dentist where they specialize in tiny, stubborn patients and while not perfect, went much better!
This is a picture of when she first got into the chair and was still really excited. We had been hyping this up to her, fearful of what happened the last time!
She got to pick out a movie to watch during the cleaning (to help distract her!) and that seemed to help for a few minutes. She became pretty freaked out and uncooperative after the first couple teeth were touched.
All in all, we got all teeth counted, polished, flossed (to get the sugar bugs out) and almost got the floride in... maybe next visit! Baby steps!

Love the photo here, she looks SO excited. The movies sure help Kelton too. Bummer about your iPhone. Not cheap to replace, that's for sure. :)
