Today we headed to The Nursery at Mt Si with Ava's preschool. Grandma Karen was kind enough to come watch Luke so we could have some mommy/daughter time. It was a BEAUTIFUL, and fairly warm day today, perfect for our last pumpkin patch trip of the season!

Since it IS almost Halloween, the pumpkins that were left in the patch were less than "ideal"... most were rotting! Here are Taylor and Ava and Delaney examining the guts of one!

On our tractor ride back from the patch, we paused at the fence and the farmer "called" the cows over. They came running and the kids were so fascinated!

The farmer threw rotting pumpkins over to the cows to keep them happy long enough for the kids to check them out... they were SO GROSS, enjoying every nasty pumpkin like it was candy! The kids loved it.

Ava and Taylor up on the tractor, watching the cows munch!

Ava's FAVORITE part of this entire excursion was this creepy guy in a glass ball who sang and danced to the Halloween music playing in the barn! Eek!
