Since we were going to be in Palm Springs on Miss Ava's "real" 8th birthday, we had a family celebration on Sunday when the boys came back from their Y Guides retreat. Lucky for us, Paul and Cole and Maya joined us too! We all went to Lukie's flag football game that evening...
Then back to the house for some dinner and play time!
Birthday "cake" number one... she doesn't love cake, so we made birthday cake cookies instead.
She got to open her BIG present from Mom and Dad.
