Happy 8th Birthday To Miss Ava!

 The birthday girl woke up bright and early... so excited to finally be EIGHT!

 We spent the morning enjoying the sunshine... such a rare treat for us!

 The birthday girl opened a few small gifts--- most had been opened prior to the trip!

 After breakfast we got ready for the day.  She is growing up SO FAST... no longer a baby or toddler but a beautiful little girl.

 Sara did her hair- gorgeous waves!

 We hit The Coffee Bean for a "birthday cake" blended on our way to...

 THE NAIL SALON!  All of us got manicures/pedicures... even the boys!

We all were IN HEAVEN, most especially little brother.  He said to the lady, "I want to come back here tomorrow!" during his massage :)

 After the nail salon, Marlene took Luke next door where he picked out the bright orange hat (to match his bright orange toes)... Sara did some photo shopping and took a picture of these twinsies!

 We found a fabulous cafe on El Paseo for lunch outside.

 While everyone napped, I took the little monkeys swimming again.

 Oh look... I was in the shade again :)

 Ava got Mancala for as one of her gifts-- there was always a game going the rest of the weekend.  VERY fun, addicting game!

 We hung out all afternoon and got ready for dinner and for....

 UNCLE FUZZY (and Michael) TO ARRIVE!

 

 He too is VERY good a silly faces :)

 

 SOOOOO amazing to see these two guys---- they are beyond fabulous company.  Very special they could join us for Ava's birthday BBQ.
