When I was little, my brother Paul and I used to play "hall football." At the end of the hall, on either end, was a room and those were our "endzones." Paul would boss me around, tackle me (and knock the wind out of me) and I would continue to play because he was my boss and I was his pawn. This afternoon, I witnessed the second generation of "hall football." Max was bossing Ava around, and she was following his orders like a puppy. Although they had a different set of rules, it TOTALLY reminded me of my childhood and made me laugh and smile!
