Girls trip to ARIZONA!!!

I just got back from a HEAVENLY girls weekend to AZ. The weather was gorgeous and sunny but cool for AZ so no laying by the pool for us this trip. It didn't matter because I got to have five days of relaxation, shopping, drinking, laughing, drinking, shopping... all with some of my favorite women and NO KIDS!

We got in late Thursday night so Friday am, we got up and sat and had coffee at our favorite spot, shopped and shopped and shopped and finished off with pedicures!

After a few glasses of wine... all showered up and waiting for the cab! This "self-taken" shot has become a weird tradition for Vicki and I! Not sure why, but we always take one ;-)

We went to one of my favorite restaurants of all time: Sapporo. At dinner we happened to be sitting by Ken Griffey Jr and some of his buddies (baseball players?). They were incredibly nice and gracious and we had some fun laughs with them. Here's a group shot... Steph got cut out ;-(

With the man himself... we teased Shelley all weekend that she got a little too snuggled in for this shot! Looks like they are a couple! LOL.

We asked if Griffey would take a group shot of us... he was a good sport and did a nice job ;-)

When we were leaving, we were shocked to see that the valet looked just like Jason from The Bachelor! He said he got it all the time... so we had to get a picture with him too ;-)

The next day (after dinner and dancing and a VERY late night!) we were all a little dehydrated... more shopping and plenty of H2o. Shelley got this huge thing of water she was sooo thirsty!!!

We rallied and got ready to do it all again Saturday night... we went to the most delicious dinner at Tommy Bahama.

Then we headed over to the Ocean Club for drinks and it was packed and so much fun! Another self-taken shot.

Sunday am we got up and grabbed coffee and headed to the airport. Megan and Steph had to get home but Vicki, Shelley and I got to stay and play another day and a half!


After taking them to the airport, we headed to my friend Kelsey's house for a visit. This was one of the highlights for me... I got to see Kelsey (one of my favorite girls!!!) and meet baby Ethan! He was a dreamboat ;-)

Sunday night we went to dinner at RAW and had another drink at Ocean Club and headed home early... by 12:30 ;) Monday we went to the mall before the airport... it was VERY hard to get our suitcases to shut! In fact, Shelley had to buy a carry-on bag!

The husbands were so wonderful to watch the kids for this special, long-weekend away! It was one of the best trips I've ever taken!!!
