Jason and I got to escape for a quick night away to Eastern Washington to attend our friend Jenny's wedding. It was a heavenly 4-hour, sunny & kid-free drive in my new convertible Beetle. We were able to talk and laugh and re-connect without distraction- something that we don't often get to do!
Once we checked in to our hotel, we got to our room and made sure to take notice of the Pendleton blanket--- something Jason's father had sold to this gorgeous hotel/casino!
We headed to the sports bar at the hotel for a couple quick beers take advantage of the kid-free time before getting ready for the wedding...
On our way to see the bride and groom! Our friend's Megan and Jeremy and their kids were a part of the ceremony... it was Jeremy's sister who got married. A few other good friends were at the wedding as well which was fun!

The reception was at a barn outside of Reardon--- it was a picture-perfect night, even a full moon! Such a special wedding, and and even bigger treat to have a night away with my groom!
