Portland for the weekend!

We got to visit Papa Jerry and Grandma Moogie this weekend in beautiful, sunny Portland! We headed out late Friday pm, and didn't arrive until after 10:30 so basically put the kiddos & daddy straight to bed :)

We woke up to the most breathtaking views! We had yet to see their stunning new home in the Pearl District... and it was even more incredible than we had even imagined!

Papa even spoiled the kiddos with some fun sugar cereal!

Once we were up, we walked down to a fabulous local bakery and coffee shop they frequent. So fun to sit outside and enjoy taking in the area & nice weather.

Our kiddos proved they are very suburban... not used to the busy traffic and cautions one must take while in the city! Luke a couple times looked both ways and ran across the street before waiting for the green light. Scary!

Here Ava is waiting for the trolley. We hitched a ride up town and the kiddos love it!

Trolley time!

We shopped around then headed to Portland State to watch a bit of cousin Connor's football practice. Again, it was glorious out and so nice to watch Con and catch up with all the family members also there checking out the practice!

Adorable...

Grandma Moogie did the kids hair before they headed to cousin Natalie's for the night.

While kid-free, we attended cousin Taylor's movie premier. This was the most moving and incredible documentary and we could not have been more in awe and proud of all Taylor has done: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Beavers-Without-Borders/200266766667721
We were all VERY inspired!

After the movie we headed to a fun bar with a ton of family (about 14 of us?) and sat around and talked--- such and incredible group and we are so blessed to be a part!
After getting the kiddos back in the am, we were off... quick and fun trip!
