We got to spend one of our last days of summer with our amazing friends, The Almy's at their grandparent's house on Lake Tapps! Truly turned out to be one of our most fun and memorable days of the entire summer! The weather was incredible, and the kids had the best time playing and splashing around in the lake.
Sofia and Ava spend a lot of time on shore where Sofia was teaching Ava how to make purses and such out of fancy-colored duct tape... one of her new hobbies! :)
The boys spend little to NO time on shore and preferred the water~~~
We went out on their new ski boat--- Renee was a championship water skier and has already gotten her kids to be excited about the sport. They have this fabulous "water ski" which is really more like a tube with a handle that the kids can sit or stand up on. Sofia went first to show the kids how it was done...
Luke wasn't sure he wanted to go... but loved riding on the boat!
Ava decided she'd try if we went REALLY slow... she's looking a little nervous!
Having fun, but wouldn't stand up...
And she's UP!!!
She had a HUGE grin on her face the entire time, and even begged to go more...
Luke said he wouldn't go... then all of a sudden decided he too wanted to try if we went REALLY slow...
He immediately said FASTER! and stood up...
And then was dancing and doing tricks! WILD MAN! He LOVED it!
More duct taping...
More splashing...
They slept soundly the entire 45 minute drive home :)
